My progress from the sacral chakra into the solar plexus: transforming my life

Since working on my sacral chakra last month (meditation, visualisation, yoga, talking to people, revisiting painful memories and events and being very honest with myself) and releasing a lot of old, pent up energy, I have noticed an incredible amount of change in my life.

I went for a job interview, was called back for a second interview (which lasted a few days) and was recently awarded one of the two available positions. Awesome! Not only will I have an income again, but I will also have something to actively work towards. Or at :P

Im also going to be teaching a class a week at the yoga studio that I started at. It is truly rewarding to have a job that shares knowledge and assists others to become better versions of themselves, which both teaching yoga, and the new job, do!

The new job is also in the field of fitness and wellness, which couldn't be better for me. It is something that I am very interested in, and passionate about. I find that the fitter I am, the better that I eat and the sounder my mind is, the happier and more productive I am as a person. I'm also a lot more stable and don't suffer from as much PMS/hormone imbalances on a regular basis.

The third chakra is about transformation. My, oh my, how my life (and general mood) has changed in the past couple of weeks! Gone are the leisurely late mornings; wondering what series to watch, food to make, when to tan in the lovely sun, what yoga class to attend, which friend to visit and what else I can do to fill up my time.

Instead, for a few hours a day, I will be (and have been) bouncing around with a massive smile on my face, correcting, encouraging and supporting people that are working on their own fitness and well-being. I must be honest, coffee is really helping me, as are midday naps. Getting up a few times a week at 4am to get ready for work is a new one for me. Shift work does have its pro's though! I have a fair amount of free time...for those naps, you know ;)

My solar plexus chakra has been getting a greater supply of energy since I opened up my sacral chakra a couple of weeks ago. It's a good thing too, because I need it! There is a lot of energy that goes into each shift at work. I also think that releasing that old energy has allowed this new energy and opportunity to come into my life. I would not have been able to handle the physical activity with all that old energy dragging me down. At this rate I think I'm going to finally get a flat belly! It will be a lifetime achievement if I get that right (maybe not the most ambitious goal ever, but hey. It's a goal nevertheless).

Transformation is definitely in the air. Heating up the room, sweat flying, bouncing around. Igniting passion and will. I do believe, this chakra is on fire. ;) Co-incidentally (or maybe not?), I've been wearing yellow a lot more frequently.

As my will and passion and vitality increase, I feel better prepared for whatever life has in store for me. Although the future is as murky as ever, I feel empowered. My self-esteem has improved. I really have been feeling good about myself. I like the challenge of having to meet a particular criteria, of having to prove myself. It's a really awesome feeling to have again. It feels like I have a purpose again. Plus the people at my new job are really cool! It's a good working environment.

Now I just need to stay focused in order to complete all my other goals. Dedication and discipline shall be required to continue learning Arabic, practising yoga, writing blogs, meditating, going for runs and learning new information for work. Above all I must stay healthy so that I can attend to all of that...and more. Challenge accepted! ;) Party, anyone?
